General Information

At PTW, we are dedicated to meeting our customers' maintenance and repair needs. Repairs and recalibrations are thus performed quickly and efficiently. In order to  ensure short turnaround times, please observe the following: 

Returning Equipment to PTW

No return number is needed when you return equipment to PTW; a "R  Number" will be issued upon arrival of the device at our site. 

When sending equipment to PTW-Freiburg for service/recalibration, please address it to the
"Service Department".

Sending Equipment for Recalibration

When sending equipment for recalibration, please specify the desired calibration quantities and qualities as exactly as possible (also see Calibration Services).

Sending Equipment for Repair

When sending equipment for repair, please include a detailed description of the problem and the malfunctions observed. After an acceptance test and detection of the malfunction source, our Service Department will provide you with a cost estimate for repair. As soon as you accept the cost estimate, the quoted repair and calibration services will be performed quickly and efficiently. Please kindly note that acceptance tests and detection of the malfunction source will be charged also if the cost estimate is rejected.

For some devices loan units may be available upon request for the duration of the repair.  Please contact your local PTW service partner for details on availability and pricing.
